Chiropractic Care

Gentle, evidence-based care for all ages, from newborns to older adults, keeping your spine functioning at its best.
Treatments may include Manual Techniques, Thompson Drop, Activator, SOT Blocks, Activator, and Dry Needling, tailored to your individual needs.
Your chiropractic care begins with completing an Health Status Report.
Your chiropractor will then consult with you to ensure you’re in the right place and chiropractic care is right for you. If it is, the chiropractor will do a thorough examination involving a number of tests.
Next you will receive a full explanation of your problem, based on your consultation, examination findings including any other tests you may have had. Your questions and concerns will be answered clearly at this time. We will make recommendations and discuss your options. If clinically appropriate and you’re happy to get started, you will receive your first chiropractic adjustment.
Dr Max offers Dry Needling and delivers rehab programs to support your care at home, together with the care you receive in the clinic.
Kids & Babies

We love to see children achieve their full potential in life.
Your child’s brain will develop more in the first 2 years of life than any other time.
There are important windows of opportunity for the optimal achievement of any developmental milestone in your baby’s life. Development is driven largely by sensory input. In the successful acquisition of milestones the complete and timely achievement of previous developmental stages is a significant factor.
Sometimes children have spinal problems too and they are examined and tested differently from adults. If there is a chiropractic problem, we use gentle, age appropriate techniques.
Checking and monitoring your child’s neurological development may happen as early as possible. We may recommend chiropractic care and brain based therapy to encourage timely milestone acquisition.

Neuro – Rehabilitation & Brain Based Therapy

Dr Tessa has post graduate training in applied clinical neuroscience, sometimes called Functional Neuro-Rehabilitation or Chiropractic Functional Neurology or Brain Based Therapy. She holds a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and was accepted as a Titled Member of the Neuro-Rehabilitation Chiropractic Clinical Interest Group by Australasian Institute of Chiropractic Education (AICE) in 2023.
Neuro-Rehabilitation can be effective in the management of many and varied problems, e.g. balance disorders, vertigo, migraine, post-concussion syndrome and delayed neurological development.
Treatment programs are tailored to suit you, based on your unique presentation, individual challenges, and circumstances. Programs can consist of in-office treatment, home therapy, nutritional support, and specific lifestyle recommendations. A program may include sensory training, vestibular training, balance training, visual motor training, or it may include targeted sound or even smell therapy. Tessa takes a high-science, low tech approach to Neuro-Rehabilitation; meaning you’ll have access to up-to-date information in the field but won’t be expected to buy expensive equipment to complete your care.
